Prayer is like home.

Prayer is like a comfy couch and a cozy throw blanket you can wrap up in.

Prayer is like special time set aside for you and your best friend.

Prayer is like a warmly drawn bath where you can lean back and relax between the arms of your Beloved.

Prayer is like a garment well woven of the finest materials.

Prayer never goes out of style.

Prayer never grows cold (from heavens perspective).

Prayer never gets old.

Quite the contrary, it rejuvenates and restores.

It is a perpetual Fountain and those who drink from it

I frequently dream of having a grand kitchen with many tables and I am wearing my apron and I am serving, serving, serving the meal. God is continually reminding me to feed His Sheep. It seems so simple, yet it draws

There are times when you feel and know that nothing you can do will make a difference—

This is when it’s important to know that Christ CAN make the difference. And sometimes I think He likes it like that. The bigger question is are you truly satisfied in Him? IS God your Source? We say it, we sing it, we declare it, but how am I living it?

Lord, bless us each with the contentment that surpasses understanding. Let the Peace I have found in each moment , that wellspring of Hope I’ve tapped into, flow like a fountain well allowing all who are thirsty and dry and in need of refreshment, to drink liberally from my inkwell. Let them get tanked, drenched, saturated, in the most Glorious of ways. Amen.

One of the best things you can do in a dry

When I was a little girl I was very timid, bashful and shy. I remember my Daddy carrying me on his forearm, holding me close to his chest. There’s such a sense of peace and rest when you have the confidence of another for supplemental strength, especially a father.

Jesus, when in the Garden of Gethsemane prayed to His Heavenly Father for Comfort, Relief and Respite. And in the quiet of the night the Christ knew what he’d been asked to do. He tried to lean on the strength of friends,

“I’m hammering out the details.”

This is the word that resignates in my Spirit this morning as I am praying about some deeply personal matters. As I was penning the words I heard,

“I’m hammering out the details.”

I began to think about it.

God is hammering out the details of your life today.

You may not understand or know much about what is happening in the world around you or in your own life, but God does, and that you can trust. He’s going to work it out.

Hammering out the details is just

God’s Grace cannot be trumped by our goodness. His grace is scandalous and pardons what we can’t fix and I think this is a beautiful, but peculiar aspect to His Character.

I love it!

Our obedience is a form of adoration, but it is not the instrument of His portions.

Because HE Lives!

We may fall…

But He will rise!

Doing good and being good are good. But what stirs God’s heart is when we love good.🌸💗

God doesn’t need our effort to advance Himself, but by the power of His love He includes

A Word About Loyalty—

Dictionary dot com defines loyal as this–

characterized by or showing faithfulness to commitments, vows, allegiance, obligations, etc.: loyal conduct.

Loyalty is not something you arrive at, loyal is something you are. Loyalty doesn’t birth in a trial, the presence of loyalty manifests within the trial because it was already there, prepared and ready.

“Lord, the God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac and Israel, keep these desires and thoughts in the hearts of your people forever, and keep their hearts loyal to you.”

1 Chron. 29:18
