His greatest interest isn’t your bank balance. It isn’t your job title, accomplishments or status.
No…His greatest interest is you.

Yesterday, out of the blue, a name from my past erupted in my mind…

It was the name of a woman I knew many years ago. I didn’t know her well, but she was a customer of mine through my nutrition business. She lived here in my city and I’d visit her at her home a few times a month to deliver vitamins to her.

She was advanced in years and seasoned in life. She lived alone, though she had family, none in town. She was still working as a CNA nurse

Now that you know I was reading at 3am you won’t be

Love is patient and kind. It looks out for others. It thinks of itself less and others more. Love is gentle and quiet yet possesses all the roar of a lion or the fiercest ocean at storm. Love does not compromise and it is pristine. Love is all things classy.

The Lord is Good and His Tender Mercies endure forever.  Fragrant is the sweet smell of kindness.  Aromatic are the fruit of the Spirit as they leave a trail of essential goodness.

Have you ever walked into a house while a fresh fruit pie was baking in the oven? Heaven, right?  The smell is so delicious, so inviting and brings a sense of comfort and “home” even if it’s not your home. This is how it is with the fruit of the spirit.  As we demonstrate these virtues as character attributes
