People don’t usually judge you by what’s going on in your heart…
They judge based on what’s going on in theirs.
There are two types of people in this world. There are those who go through a difficult experience, time or season and they bleed it out on others. Their bleeding may be crying to everyone about it obsessively, their bleeding may be a chronic bad mood or attitude or possibly they have difficulty functioning in the dailies of life. (These are all just merely observations, not judgments.)
But then there
I once knew a man named Charlie…
Seasons in life bring opportunities. Each opportunity is a window where God can expand our hope as he expands the foundation of our life creating something sound, something stable that we can build upon. Because we can dream all day long and become little more than a dreamer if we allow ourselves to stop there. Therefore, every encounter, every relationship, whether for a moment, a year, a decade a lifetime—has the power to shape and mold who we are destined to be.
I invite you into my Tabernacle of Hope.
I have been sifted deeply and completely;
But within it all you have never left my side.
You bore my stain that I might gain something intimate, something lovely,
something created for my goodness sake.
Then your Love walks in, radiant and bright. Your Love walks in and it has worn a path on my heart and stains the soil of my pen—
I will never be the same again.
You never leave me forlorn.
You’ve bore the scorn.
You took the sting of rejection and turned it into
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’” Mark 12:30
Worry is such an incredible waste of time, energy and anything of value that it will cost you. Because you will always have to make an exchange when you choose worry over faith. Worry will cause you to take detours on your journey not meant for you. Worry will derail purpose and potential in exchange for a one way ticket to nowhere. When
Though tears come through the Night…
Joy comes in the morning.
I bet that could also read Joy comes in the Mourning….grief gives way and births something amazing when we are married to God.
It literally JUST dawned on me as I was writing it!!! (No pun intended by using the word dawn 🤭)
I sent this thread to a friend who is grieving this morning. She replied that she has actually researched this and the word Morning. It is used both ways! So our Lord once again proves He has thought of everything.
Nothing surprises God. He looks at every single bit of creation and His Created…you…through the eyes of what He designed and made you to do.
All God needs if for us to agree to trust Him and then we begin to flourish and walk into every ounce of possibility He has declared faithfully.
Your life an extraordinary gift.
Living life to the fullest is a compilation of foundational decisions on life philosophy –what you believe and stand for–and then managing those decisions every day. Each day knowing you are better made than the
Prayer is like home.
Prayer is like a comfy couch and a cozy throw blanket you can wrap up in.
Prayer is like special time set aside for you and your best friend.
Prayer is like a warmly drawn bath where you can lean back and relax between the arms of your Beloved.
Prayer is like a garment well woven of the finest materials.
Prayer never goes out of style.
Prayer never grows cold (from heavens perspective).
Prayer never gets old.
Quite the contrary, it rejuvenates and restores.
It is a perpetual Fountain and those who drink from it
When I was a little girl I was very timid, bashful and shy. I remember my Daddy carrying me on his forearm, holding me close to his chest. There’s such a sense of peace and rest when you have the confidence of another for supplemental strength, especially a father.
Jesus, when in the Garden of Gethsemane prayed to His Heavenly Father for Comfort, Relief and Respite. And in the quiet of the night the Christ knew what he’d been asked to do. He tried to lean on the strength of friends,
God answers prayers…
And He will employ the man or woman of God gifted to pray (Intercessor) to get the job done.
Never underestimate the Power of a Prayer. When was the last time you prayed?
When was the last time you prayed with another or asked another to pray for you?
Today is a great day to begin!
A prayer is simply communion with heaven. Share with God like you were talking on the phone to your best friend. Because that’s indeed what He is–your best friend. So don’t be
New Year…New Goals.
I’ve never been one to make resolutions. I tend to look at every day as a new day, a new chance and new beginning. But why not take the opportunity with a new calendar year to dream big, take big action steps and witness every possibility for your life ignite with passion and take flight?
Extraordinary just may be a place worth going.
So instead of talking yourself out of your divine destiny, why not decide to keep it, embrace it, and make it a reality?
Possibility is a glorious expression
