The Gladiator Mindset
Have you ever known someone who had an all or nothing mindset? I’d like to call it a Gladiator Mindset. Think about a gladiator of Ancient Rome. These men stepped into the arena knowing the only man leaving was the last man standing. He had to be all in. He must have laser focus. His eyes must be keen and aware of everything happening around him. Intent. His intent must be “victory is the only option”. Mindset is the fuel in his veins that bear the fruit and
Don’t be Overwhelmed and take Courage
A step forward can be great gain when we use it to give Glory to His Name.
You’re steps are Chosen.
His Path for you clear.
He has seen each one before you ever took one.
Think about that.
Have confidence in that!
You can only bubble over with the Hope and Glory knowing you will have a Banner finish to this Year!
No matter what you face today–it is building in you a foundation for brighter days…if you will just keep going!
Hope has an anthem and it
Follow your heart, it has instinct. Take courage, dreams have lofty price tags. Follow your path, it is your own. With faith, courage and curiosity anything becomes possible.
When you kneel before the Lord. When you bow your heart no matter where your head (your mind) is….Bowing of the heart rends the heart of heaven and grabs God’s attention.
Only God can equip his children with a meek and quiet soul disposition, yet the powerful boldness that knows its voice and why it’s been given and when to use it. There is
Have you ever had heartburn?
It is caused from acid reflux. The acids from the stomach return into the esophagus and cause a burning sensation.
Or is heart burn a certain kind of zeal or passion? You burn from within with passion and conviction about a certain decision or belief? You are decided and the strength of your decision is undivided.
Imagine you are in a crowded room. The floor is hard to discern because so many feet cover it. But the room clears and you are the only one left and you
My son Joel is an absolute character. His entire life he has been equipped with sarcasm and quick wit. He says the most hysterical things delivered in absolute matter of fact stoic way. When he was maybe 8 yrs. old we were driving home from school. He calls out to me from the back of the car that one day he’s going to get his drivers license and he will buy a motorcycle and a sports car. He believed it like it were already a given fact. He also believed
“I’m hammering out the details.”
This is the word that resignates in my Spirit this morning as I am praying about some deeply personal matters. As I was penning the words I heard,
“I’m hammering out the details.”
I began to think about it.
God is hammering out the details of your life today.
You may not understand or know much about what is happening in the world around you or in your own life, but God does, and that you can trust. He’s going to work it out.
Hammering out the details is just
A person who is well loved is better able to go out and love EVERYONE better.
Doing good and being good are good. But what stirs God’s heart is when we “love good”–
Learning to love like Jesus should go deeper everyday.
Live like you are loved.
Im not talking about human love—
But, of course, human love makes such a profound difference.
This is why we are commissioned to love, first our God (He is to be our first love) and then our neighbor as ourself. Who is our neighbor? Everyone outside of ourselves!
“Then they were willing to let him in, and immediately the boat was where they were going!”
God can change your life in an instant.
One of the amazing highlights of our trip to Israel was visiting the very places that Jesus walked, talked, taught and lived. It creates another new level of animation to the soul of what life in his era was like. Now when I read I see the landscape vividly. Mind blowing detail manifests itself and I am grateful. Every ounce of me grateful.
We took a
Where to begin…
This is the foremost thought on my mind tonight.
I’ve arrived home from one of the most favorite weeks of my life. I had no idea how much I’d love being in Israel. So much history. So much prophesy. So much …so much. I’ve unpacked my bags (because I’m a bit of a freak about putting things in order right away). I’ve had a light snack even though it’s “bedtime”, because I managed to lose 4 pounds on our trip somehow. And now I’m sitting down with my journal
Your day will go exactly how you want it to…
“Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long.”
We make our plans, but our day is ultimately in God’s hands. It’s how we respond to His plans that make the difference.
Where have you place it?
Have you ever misplaced something? Have you ever misplaced something and discovered it was missing days or weeks later? This might happen with something you don’t use everyday or when you use it it’s
