It’s Complicated

Yesterday I had someone share with me, when I asked how things were going… “It’s complicated.” I knew full well they were going through something difficult. I knew that they were doing their best to do the right and noble thing in a diffiult circumstance. I knew my simple question was probably also a hard question. I wan’t trying to probe. I was trying to encourage someone going through something more than a little complicated.

I have a t-shirt-it’s really more like a muscle shirt, that is black and has flames across the chest. It says “girl gang“ next to the flames. It has rips, tears and holes all over it that were intentionally put  there.

I had forgotten I had it and rediscovered it this week and I learned something—not much has changed when it comes to the response I receive for this shirt. I get a lot of compliments of people liking my shirt each time I wear

I woke up this morning feeling heavy hearted the same as I did when I fell to sleep last night. God, where are you? Maybe that’s something you’re asking yourself right now. I know I am. But here, down beneath my hurt and heart ache, I know something on a deeper level and I have personal experience with its truth—
God is there, right beside you.

He’s always been there.
He is faithful.
He is protector.
He is confidant.
He is friend.
He loves the color of your skin, whatever shade it is.
He loves you

I have written out a prayer for America. She needs ourprayer so much right now. If you haven’t been praying or don’t pray…it may be a good time to begin. DISCERNMENT

Wherever there is excessive rules or control, there is a spirit of witchcraft behind it. Does that mean a controlling person is practicing witchcraft? No, not outright anyway. What it means is there is a demonic principality present and influencing choices and decisions. There are rules taught by man and man made that seem good, and maybe they are good, but they are not necessarily “Biblical”, but maybe are more socially expected. But this does not mean it is from God! Sometimes man made and socially accepted rules

I’m not sure it’s possible in the natural, but when we bring God into the equation it becomes possible. I am not sure it’s bad to hate someone. God has wired us with emotions and our mind, heart, spirit and emotions are all connected. Some more emotional than others while some are more cerebral. In the same way some are more spiritual and some are not.

When someone discovers and falls in love with God they are like a new garden. A seed has been sown that has sprouted something. But just like a garden, they must be showered with love. They must be fertilized with faith. They must be encouraged in their new found hope.
