Devotion on God's Comfort: Strength & Joy

"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful."

Colossians 3:15

Yesterday Andrew was walking around the house singing, "He's got the whole world in his hands". He must have learned it in Sunday School the past few weeks because I haven't spent much time singing that one with him. Isn't it true...God has the entire Universe at his command, I know He can hold onto you and meet your every need. God's arms are waterproof. You can sob in His Comforting care. He won't pull away, He's not going anywhere. If your sobs are sadness or Joy, He is the Hope that is ever unfolding. So count it all as Joy and offer thanks no matter what. Do you have a troubling situation and you don't know what to do? Thank Him for the opportunity to watch Him unfold a miracle and providing answer for you. Are you overwhelmed with good news or great opportunity? Thank Him for He is the one who made the way for the opportunity to be there. In all things, consider it pure Joy. Joy is different than happiness. Joy is a disposition that sees opportunity to become more, learn more, be more through every experience. It is a knowing that no matter what...

He's got you.
