Why I compete in Bodybuilding:

You were created to live an abundant, prosperous, healthy, life. When you make the choice to compete in bodybuilding as a Believer you know going in you will be sternly judged by some. Many feel it's "wrong" for a Christian woman to do this. I'm ok with that. It's not usually hard to discern who thinks what because facial expressions say a lot. But look around. We live in a society that is obsessed with surface appearances on every level. Young girls are looking at fitness motivation images that are nothing more than soft core porn. Is that the influence we want? Women who have lost their fitness or shape because they've been caring for family more than themselves believing "this is just how I am now". It doesn't have to be so. I compete for the Lord who directed me to the sport. I compete for young girls to show them you can be classy and tasteful in the fitness industry. I compete for real women with real fitness struggles to inspire them to believe that if I can compete in my 40's after 5 babies, they can lose some pounds and feel better. I compete because I believe in YOU! Be encouraged to be your best self ever no matter what the past has been. God has an incredible life waiting for you, feel good and enjoy the ride! ~Nicole
