The Midas Touch

"King Solomon was greater in riches and wisdom than all the other kings of the earth. The whole world sought audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom God had put in his heart." 1 Kings 10:23-24

Notice in this passage that the people came to hear his wisdom, not to see his riches. Any man can develop wealth, but a wise man develops wealth in all areas of life...be it finance, relationships, resources, etc. A wise person can adequately asses situations, discern motives and make good choices. When you pray to God, it's ok to ask him to bless your business or pocketbook, but he will discern the motive of your heart. If it is pure and trustworthy-he will bless you in his time. But the greater prayer is to ask for wisdom, discernment and knowledge-for with these you receive the greatest wealth of all.

May the Lord prosper you-heart and soul- may he put his Midas touch on all you endeavor. Let his name go forth in all the earth for the good that you do. Blessings...
