He Will Rise For You☀️
Every morning you have confidence that the sun will rise. It has risen every morning since the beginning of time. Because of this constant you have probably never doubted once and you’ve planned your day and life around it.
Gods got you every step of the way. He’s with you at the sunrise dawning of a new day. He carries you through until the evening sun fades.
He is a Constant, Sure and Steady Foundation. Plant your feet on him and you won’t lose your balance! You can depend on God just

Stellar Quality
People who enjoy canoeing are familiar with the Outrigger Canoe Club. I’m not sure how many there are, but I am aware of one in Newport Beach, Ca. and Honolulu, Hawaii. We’ve attended canoe events in Orange County and have enjoyed many meals at the club on the beach in the Aloha state. John and I are not members nor do we canoe, but we have friends who do.
If you have never been, the clubs are posh. Prestigious. Expensive. It is an exclusive environment. It’s made special. It is designed

Build It!
“Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.” Genesis 6:9
If God is ever going to do anything great with your life you must first believe in His power in your life. We can aspire, discipline ourselves, set goals and pursue them all, but without the right foundation it will collect mold. The dream or accomplishment won’t hold.
Noah’s biggest miracle wasn’t building an ark or gathering animals or even life in the first boat. His greatest Miracle was believing God.
Get it down deep. Let it stir

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” James 1:17
Jacob wrestled with God. He came face to face with His Maker and yet his life was spared. It was there that God gave him a new name, Israel, and he was never the same.
How about you? Are you calling yourself by an old name, old expectations of old habits never to change? Don’t let it be so! God has spoken

Trust-Love & Confidence (TLC)
“Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.” Jeremiah 17:7
God always wants us to trust Him, but did you ever stop and realize that He is willing to place trust and confidence in us? It’s true. The Creator of the Universe stood before time and had a dream of your life and what you would look like. Think about it. If you’re a Mother you remember before your little bundle arrived you did this, too. But your very DNA already fore

Winner's Circle
You are a Winner!
Champion does not mean first place-first prize.
A Champion is an ardent defender of purpose and people. God is your defender. He is ardent, unwavering, in his devotion to humanity. You count on him to do what only he can do and he will do it for you. You can trust him! Many times we SAY we trust him, but then we continue to take care of everything ourself. We believe he will bless our effort and that’s the extent of our trust. But what about trust that

Expect It…
A small child learning to walk may fall 50 times for he or she succeeds to take a handful of steps.
A kid learning to ride their bike may wibble and wobble and even fall over, but they keep getting up.
They say if you fall off of a horse you should get right back on to eradicate any future fear of riding.
How do you know this is not your year? Though we may fall. We may fail, we may not see the fruit of results God has purposed within us, we

Love 'Em Right
Parenting is a bit like an oar. Study the oar, it is a plank of wood that has been sanded and softened, yet is durable, resilient and strong. The sanding is all over, but the edges are where it is best shown the curves and soft edges of its grooming. This is so when the oar is pulled through the water it cuts right in smoothly instead of choppy or hard. It makes the experience more enjoyable and comfortable for all who transport in the boat or canoe.
As a parent

Power of One
Yesterday I was privileged to speak briefly to a team of girls soccer players about nutrition. These girls were all about 13 years of age. Captivating their attention and interaction wasn’t easy. I used questions and analogies to try to get them engaged and it worked to a degree. But for the most part they spent the entire talk not looking at me, but watching all the distractions about the field.
I even brough visual aids and samples of healthier options to try. I spoke of the importance of nutrition in

Storms Blow Victories Horn
Ruth had many characteristics that make a woman great. She was faithful, loyal, obedient and courageous. When her husband died she continued to cling to her Mother-in-Laws side and took on a new life, new faith, new neighborhood.
Have you ever had to let go and trust God? Ever have to go a way unfamiliar to you? It could be a new city, a new neighborhood, job, even new people. You feel like a fish out of water? This is how Ruth felt. Displaced and distrusted she began
