Exemplified
“Hope for nothing from your own labors, from your own understanding: trust solely in God, and in the influence of His Spirit.” Martin Luther
When we speak of great women in the Bible we hear about Esther, Ruth, Mary, Deborah…to name a few. But today I’d like to highlight Naomi.
Naomi was Ruth’s Mother-in-Law. When these women found themselves widows… Orpah, her other Daughter-In-Law, went back to her people, but Ruth stayed with Naomi. Ruth chose to live amongst people who had a culture vastly different from her own. Naomi guided Ruth

Under Warranty
“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.”
Psalm 136:1
We live in a world that puts a lot of emphasis on status. We identify ourselves by titles, accomplishments, monetary gain and recognition.
So where does that leave me when my entire life I am not particularly motivated by any of these things?
When I was younger it left me a bit apathetic. I “did”, because I was expected to and wanted to please my parents, please my teachers and have the satisfaction of knowing I tried. However, I was

Power of Encouragement
The Power of Encouragement…
The meet began at 3:30. By the time I had collected children, my spouse and made the drive we arrived at 4pm. We didn’t know what time his race was. Sometimes it’s the first and sometimes the last. I get there as fast as I can and trust God with the details. He knows what I can and can’t do. But on this day, we made it. His was the next race. The path wove and twisted along a hill, a trail and along a bend that

Change For America
I look about my country and I see so much Divide. I see people outraged. I see people filled with anger and hate. I see others full of self. Others broken and forsaken. But that’s what I see with my eyes–
When I look with my heart I see all the same…people in pain, hurting, and lacking proper love.
As a Christian I am bothered by what I see. It penetrates me, heart and soul. The enormity of the responsibility to make an impactful difference in my neighborhood, community, city, state, nation

Unleashed…
Unleash Your Dreams and Bridle Your Fears…
Are you making disclaimers on life and possibilities? Are you prefacing your ideas or statements with a negative before the positive? “This is how it’s always been…”,
I’d like to, but…”, “I’d like to see _____, but I will be content with_______.”, “Its not my favorite, but you might like it.”, “I’d love to live_____, but where I’m at is ok.”, “This is just how I am.”
These are only a few examples of how you may be unintentionally sabotaging God’s Creative Design on your mind.

Supplemental Strength
“Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23
Above all else, guard your heart.
We often think of this as the emotional content of the heart, but what if it means more?
I learned the powerful benefits of Vitamin C many years ago from a friend of our family who happen to be a high level Nutritional Biochemist. So esteemed was this gentleman’s reputation he was known to be called on by the FDA for consultation and he held at least one trade mark brand

Beauty in Submission
It takes a strong and secure man to lead. It takes a strong an secure woman to let him…
Several years ago God dropped this rocket in my heart, an analogy of why wives need to submit to their husbands leadership, that is so good and so true though a delicate subject.
If a person tends to see God as they see their earthly father, then a woman’s ability to submit and respect her husband is a reflection of how she submits and respects The Lord. Wow. Let’s all chew on that

Embracing the Extreme
Don’t lose hope in a God who does great and mighty miracles.
He’s done them before-
He can do them again.
I’ve witnessed them before-
I will witness them again.
There is Joy for you in the Journey.
This is not the end. Don’t give up.
In my life I have experienced the extremes-extreme hardship, extreme blessing-and everything in between. It was in my trials that I learned how to supplicate the heart of God. It was in my sufferings of soul that I learned how quick He is to hear me as though all along he

UnQuenchable
“But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.” John 4:14
The body is comprised almost entirely of water. We cannot live without it. It is a foundation sustenance that maintains and sustains life. Drinking water hydrates your skin, your organs function best when well hydrated and our cells maintain their shape and replicate best in the presence of adequate moisture. Without enough water fatigue sets in, the body begins to compromise its integrity and
