Every Believer has a ministry tucked within the chambers of their heart. It's been planted there by a Sovereign God who had a special design on your life when He created your life.

My entire childhood and young adult life I was pretty quiet, subdued and introverted. I still am somewhat of an introvert. I love being around and encouraging others, but I also deeply cherish my quiet alone time too. I was timid. I was unsure of myself. Then I began this beautiful discipleship program by John C. Maxwell. It wasn't a Bible study but a field development training for my nutrition business. God used it to stretch me exponentially. See, I knew hands down my husband was a leader, but never considered myself one. As I worked through the leadership training and my myopic thinking was stretched, God was stretching my heart and challenging me with the notion that as a Believer I am called to lead. It is part of the commission.

Ministry does not need to require becoming ordained or taking a long mission trip. Those things are lovely, but if we all did that who would love your neighbor? Who would help the person who's car has tanked it on the side of the road? Who would run for public office to shape a nation right? You are a marketplace minister and you carry the gospel with you everywhere you go. Go boldly on the path marked out before you. Shine bright despite the darkness of night! It's all for His Glory!
