I have written out a prayer for America. She needs ourprayer so much right now. If you haven’t been praying or don’t pray…it may be a good time to begin. If you are not comfortable or don’t know the words to pray, I wanted to help by writing a mini blueprint you can follow along and pray with. Remember, there are no perfect words or prayers, all prayer is effective and can change circumstances. Your prayers just need to be sincere and prayed!

PRAYER FOR AMERICA

“Lord, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments, let your ear be attentive and your eyes open to hear the prayer your servant is praying before you”
(Nehemiah 1:5-6)

Forgive us Lord! Forgive us for forgetting about you in our day to day. Forgive us if we have not been in any way the citizen of our country we needed to be. A country is only as strong as its weakest component. But when we are weak, you are STRONG! (2 Corinthians 12:10) We need your strength now God! We pray for America right now!

“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.“
(Isaiah 54:17)
The Lord will be like a wall of fire around us, protecting us, and he will be the glory among us. (Zechariah 2:5) shine your favor down! We don’t deserve it, but your grace compels it. (Ephesians 2:8-9)
We will be like the strength of an iron gate!
“The bolts of your gates will be iron and bronze, and your strength will equal your days.
“There is no one like the God of Jeshurun,
who rides across the heavens to help you
and on the clouds in his majesty.
The eternal God is your refuge,
and underneath are the everlastingarms.
He will drive out your enemies before you,
saying, ‘Destroy them!’“
(Deuteronomy 33:25-27)

There is no one like you God! (Psalm 86:8)
Give us wisdom. Give us compassion and empathy. Give us mercy. Give us a calm and contemplative heart and mind. (2 Corinthians 10:5) Make our attentions attentive to Truth and what to do. And let every lie and deception fail and be exposed!
