Game of Life
Everything happens in seasons.
I remember there was a season of my life that I had three children playing in Morada Little League simultaneously. The most sensational little league ever in my opinion, but not two of them on the same team. Two boys and my daughter played softball. The home field was just around the block from our home. But softball travelled much so my daughter’s games were all over the place. I remember I would begin to mentally prepare for the schedule and time demand of the

Look Up
“And let us consider each other carefully for the purpose of sparking love and good deeds.” Hebrews 10:24
I wrote the words that follow sometime ago, a few years back I guess, but God will often times use my own words and writing to encourage myself. I must say that one thing I appreciate about the gift of exhortation is I can always encourage myself and usually do. But as encouragers we are often the last to be encouraged because most of the time it doesn’t occur to others we appreciate

Sweet Smells & Heaps of Kindness
Fruit Pie…
The Lord is good and His Tender Mercies endure forever. Fragrant is the sweet smell of kindness. Aromatic are the fruit of the Spirit as they leave a trail of essential goodness.
Have you ever walked into a house while a fresh fruit pie was baking in the oven? Heaven, right? The smell is so delicious, so inviting and brings a sense of comfort and “home” even if it’s not your home.
This is how it is with the fruit of the spirit.

Beautiful is a heart that accepts reproof. When we realize sometimes we struggle not because we are being punished, but rather we are being loved.
There is beauty in forgiveness, humility, meekness, gentleness

Push Away…
The Push Away Diet Plan
“Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning…For He is gracious and merciful. Slow to anger, and of great kindness.” Joel 2:12-13
There was a woman who receive a remarkable healing in her body. She was so exuberant with joy she wrote her Pastor to tell him the good news. She finished her letter by asking, “Do you think God would do anything about my being overweight?” The Pastor wrote her back and congratulated her on her miracle, and replied to

Time Under Tension
It takes a long time to build muscle and change your shape. With consistent effort, good nutrition and faithfulness you begin to see some fruit of your efforts right away, but for long term wellness you’ve got to stick and stay. Your reward is in the constant and deliberate application of it. You’ve got to be patient.
The same is true for Soul Strength. You must nurture your own heart, feed it good stuff, always be expanding your mind and growing your soul. Be open to new ideas and opportunities as

BE-You-ty Times Nine
Have a blessed day filled with
“Beauty Times Nine”
When I wrote “Brilliance Times Nine” this past week the number nine was a reoccurring theme…it was so highlighted in my heart, but I did not know what it meant. I knew it was deeper Truth that would gloss past most everyone’s eyes but within there was a prize.
The number nine in scriptures represents God’s Completeness and the Fruit of the Spirit. So you are complete in him. His Glory is Complete within us. His abounding fruit cannot be undone, for it is
