I woke up this morning feeling heavy hearted the same as I did when I fell to sleep last night. God, where are you? Maybe that’s something you’re asking yourself right now. I know I am. But here, down beneath my hurt and heart ache, I know something on a deeper level and I have personal experience with its truth—
God is there, right beside you.

He’s always been there.
He is faithful.
He is protector.
He is confidant.
He is friend.
He loves the color of your skin, whatever shade it is.
He loves you

I have written out a prayer for America. She needs ourprayer so much right now. If you haven’t been praying or don’t pray…it may be a good time to begin. If you are not comfortable or don’t know the words to pray, I wanted to help by writing a mini blueprint you can follow along and pray with. Remember, there are no perfect words or prayers, all prayer is effective and can change circumstances. Your prayers just need to be sincere and prayed!

Let us come together and pray for

The instruction of the Almighty in my life has a peculiar obedience. When I struggle in it, when worship and prayers and quietness before Him yet elude that breakthrough power I seek, I frequently reignite my spark by sharpening my iron against those heroes of old who did difficult things for the Lord. I was just telling my husband the other day we were due to re-watch the movie “Amazing Grace”. One of a few movies that stir our zeal.

I was actually sensing God lean in my heart to write

I look about my country and I see so much Divide. I see people outraged. I see people filled with anger and hate. I see others full of self. Others broken and forsaken. But that’s what I see with my eyes–
When I look with my heart I see all the same…people in pain, hurting, and lacking proper love.

As a Christian I am bothered by what I see. It penetrates me, heart and soul. The enormity of the responsibility to make an impactful difference in my neighborhood, community, city, state, nation
