Like many people, I have one of those wood blocks that holds all my sharp knives and some kitchen sheers that I use only on food. Yesterday I was preparing myself some raw chicken to be grilled on my skillet and as I was using the sheers to cut the meat I noticed how easy it was. Night before last I had a dream.

In the dream I was standing outdoors near a vehicle of some sort and outside a house that looked like a shack. It was raining hard. The waters were rising all about, up to my knees in water. Someone had been trying to help me, but quit. So I stood there, looked up to heaven, and said, “This is it?”

I don’t really watch the news on television. For the most part—its all drama, hype and fear driven. Gone are the days of simply reporting the facts and allowing the people of America to conclude their own opinions or decisions about social issues or this and that.
