The apple of the eye is the absolute dead center of the pupil. Wherever the apple rests, it is completely focused and attentive. I have deep admiration for people who can look others dead in the eye when they speak, fully focused, not distracted, not gazing over your shoulder, not shifting their eyes…focused. It’s like a laser point of intention fixed on a mark. You know you have that persons full attention and they are both powerful and passionate about what they are trying to communicate.

You are the God of the perfect timing…

It’s God’s nature to love you all the time. It may be difficult to accept God’s Love. After all—you don’t deserve Him. He knows all of this and still chooses to cradle His heart around you. Because that’s what He wants to do! This is what the truest, purest form of love would do. It’s hard to wrap our mind around a God so dedicated to imprisoning you. That’s right…He, when released by our will to have full access to our heart,

It’s so important to keep your mind right and bridle it with the Love and Hope of Jesus Christ. Wise Men sought him out, so should you! Don’t allow fear, anxiety, false imaginations, sadness, worry, loneliness, pride, stubbornness or any vice to create a cross God doesn’t intend you to bear!

The Lord lean heavy in my heart to share a piece I wrote many years ago. I had to read it myself to recall it’s content which was amazing because I see how much I’ve grown even since writing it. Many struggle with loneliness, especially around the holidays. I seem to know many who have endured tragic and sudden losses of loved ones this year alone. Give your heart rest. There is a passage of scripture that says, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” (psalm 20:7)

If I scripted this out in modern terms it simply implies God is our portion. God is my everything. I will not put my confidence and security

Chores, errands, running around.
Company party, office party, neighbors party, church party, family gatherings and an endless list of this and that. It’s the most wonderful time of the year and maybe the most exhausting or depressing time of the year for many.
