Dispel the Night.

Angel of Light, you protect me when it’s Night. My cares take flight in your Presence.
You not only give me something to sing…you give me someone to sing to…to love…to care for.

My love for you causes me to shout.
My shout doesn’t come from my throat, but how I move my pen and script my heart on paper for all who should care to read.

You are so much more than what you see in the mirror…you are strong.
You are witty.
You are Joyful.
You are Magnificent.
You are genuine and sincere.
You are careful and considerate.

You have been hurt by many, but you count is as blessing for it was used to shape your strength and tenacity.
Adversity is life’s Great Teacher.

Look at your strength…
You hold yourself well.

You have been measured and the weight of your measure is like pure and precious metal. Golden are you. God’s scepter has reached down from heavens crown to anoint you. God

Ever had somebody think you were mad at them when you weren’t? It can be frustrating to convince someone who has decided in their heart and are sure of a non fact.

But don’t we all do this to God over and over again? Don’t we betray our own heart and fail to show ourselves kindness because we expect the worse case scenario to unfold?

We place our expectations of the future on our experiences of the past. What a horrible mask the enemy has dealt to corrupt God’s Good

Broken & Brave~

Belief…

It is the dwelling place of Hope. Though it takes courage, don’t be afraid to dare to Believe.

Breath…

Breath in your bones is what wakes you up in the morn…

Hope…

Hope is the oxygen of the soul that builds us up and helps us take just one more step.

Love…

Love is the ultimate measure of our existence. Without it, we are nothing. With it, we are everything. Faith. Hope. Love. Breath in deeply this trio of success. Count yourself blessed.

It only takes one person to believe in you to Light your Purpose afire.

When Alex was little she had a t-shirt that said, “future president”.

All my little ones inherited this shirt and as time went on I began telling people when they met my babies, that they were a future president. Most people would laugh like I was being funny…while I wouldn’t laugh, but would just pause and smile. I was declaring purpose over them.

President of what? A corporation? A club? The country? ….Yes.
I was declaring leadership over

Did you know?

The Bible is mostly poetry? Nearly fifty percent of it! This is a fact I learned just yesterday and it tickled my heart. Because when the Spirit speaks to me and when He crowds my pen and I rend, something poetic as a prose or rhyme comes to my mind every time. I love this because He has always versed my pen and courted my heart with smoothness of words. It’s like salve to my soul.
He knows my heart and my love language.

God will speak to

God knows what you have been through. Do not look at circumstances or people. Look past all of that into the eyes of the Besotted. He wants to hold your gaze. He wants to carve out for you a place. He wants to bring forth your wildest dreams. He is Master, Father, Creator of everything. He loves you. He can take the worst of times and create the best of times. He is constant and consistent for you all the days of your life.

He will turn your pit into

In the late 1970’s there was a man by the name Jim Jones. Jim became famous for the horrific actions of mass murder. He was the leader of a cult and convinced his followers to take a poisoned drink. The poison was in kool Aid so came the slang phrase, “Don’t drink the Kool Aid.”

Don’t drink the Kool Aid…

That’s good advice. Are you drinking the Kool Aid?

You may not be in a cult or agreeing to harm yourself, but you may be doing exactly that in subtle ways… harming

All of life is a song—
You bring the melody
God plays the harmony
And together, it becomes poetic history and great things are done.

Your life is a book.
God holds the Master copy—
The version with all the tattered edges, tear stains, choices made and not made.
The one with all the highlights and torn pages.
Pencil smudges where ideas, pursuits, mishaps were erased.

Be an open book.
As an open book you are as open and vulnerable as can be.
For vulnerability is key for healthy relationships and healthy intimacy.
The closed book is easier, safer, most guarded and

“Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy.” Matthew 5:7

Mercy: A disposition to be kind and forgiving.

The Beatitudes are God’s clues for a healthy attitude. When we have a healthy attitude we are able to have a positive disposition. With a positive disposition comes a healthy position…not a position as title or job or location. A healthy position of the heart makes your disposition one that is light, free, happy.

Relationship is why Jesus came to earth. He never came to acquire title or position. He came for friendship
