Time Under Tension
It takes a long time to build muscle and change your shape. With consistent effort, good nutrition and faithfulness you begin to see some fruit of your efforts right away, but for long term wellness you’ve got to stick and stay. Your reward is in the constant and deliberate application of it. You’ve got to be patient.
The same is true for Soul Strength. You must nurture your own heart, feed it good stuff, always be expanding your mind and growing your soul. Be open to new ideas and opportunities as

Food For Thought
Food for Thought…
A big factor in health and weight management is nutrition, but in addition to good nutrition you need portion control. Too much of anything will make you gain excess weight. One way to monitor your intake is by measuring your portions. So, stay off the scale, measure yourself with a tape measure and use a food scale to weigh your food instead. I love my food scale! You can get less expensive or more expensive scales, shop by your budget and need. It’s a great tool. ~Nicole

Balanced Living
Everything we do in the physical also affects us in the spiritual. It is unavoidable. Our mind, body and soul are all tied together, work together and compliment each other. This is by Divine Design. So if Rest, Exercise and Diet are our gauges for wellness physically, the same can be true for our spiritual, emotional and mental health as well.
REST in the Arms of the Almighty. At the end of the day you can rest when you know you’ve given your best and can trust God with the particulars

BE-You-ty Times Nine
Have a blessed day filled with
“Beauty Times Nine”
When I wrote “Brilliance Times Nine” this past week the number nine was a reoccurring theme…it was so highlighted in my heart, but I did not know what it meant. I knew it was deeper Truth that would gloss past most everyone’s eyes but within there was a prize.
The number nine in scriptures represents God’s Completeness and the Fruit of the Spirit. So you are complete in him. His Glory is Complete within us. His abounding fruit cannot be undone, for it is

Brilliance Times 9
“Those who sow in tears shall reap with joyful shouting.” Psalm 126:5
God sees every thing you go through. Every struggle. He heard your every prayer, whether you have directed those prayers toward him or just felt them in your heart. He hears it and he saves it. He cherishes it and he brings forth blessing from it and through it. His aim is to captivate you. His aim is to be glorified in you and through you. What is such glory, you ask?
He is good. He is kind. He is

Lid Lifters
A chief objective in my life, part of my mission statement, if you will, is to help people become successful.
I do this first and foremost by instilling in the them the resolute and unwavering belief that they can, indeed, achieve all that they have been placed on this planet to do. I can see it in my minds eye, my heart and soul. But what I see won’t matter if you don’t see it and believe it too.
God has great plans for you!

Fast Feet~Swift Heart
I love to run.
I’ve written about this before, but maybe you haven’t known it.
I don’t jog.
I don’t run long distances.
It would surprise me if you ever found me in even a 5k race.
I sprint.
I run hard and fast for short, but varied distances.
I’m quick, but I’m diminutive in stature and so I’m not necessarily fast.
There is a difference.
But I am fast enough, run hard enough and long enough to feel the pleasure of my Lord who faithfully puts His cadence right next to mine.
I love to eat healthy.
I haven’t always

Sustainable Glory
“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him…” Psalm 37:7
Patience is such a rare and beautiful fruit of the spirit. God is enormously patient and kind. His kindness most of the time absolutely blows my mind. He wraps himself with goodness and care and delivers it like a tight bundle of hope to every heart that would dare to care to possess such gifts.
When we purpose our life to be His Radiant Bride…
What does that mean really?
When we think of a Bride we think of a woman walking

Exemplified
“Hope for nothing from your own labors, from your own understanding: trust solely in God, and in the influence of His Spirit.” Martin Luther
When we speak of great women in the Bible we hear about Esther, Ruth, Mary, Deborah…to name a few. But today I’d like to highlight Naomi.
Naomi was Ruth’s Mother-in-Law. When these women found themselves widows… Orpah, her other Daughter-In-Law, went back to her people, but Ruth stayed with Naomi. Ruth chose to live amongst people who had a culture vastly different from her own. Naomi guided Ruth

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.”
Psalm 136:1
We live in a world that puts a lot of emphasis on status. We identify ourselves by titles, accomplishments, monetary gain and recognition.
So where does that leave me when my entire life I am not particularly motivated by any of these things?
When I was younger it left me a bit apathetic. I “did”, because I was expected to and wanted to please my parents, please my teachers and have the satisfaction of knowing I tried. However, I was
