Love Un-Tombed
When loves walks in you can feel it…
Unfortunately only women will able to relate to this, but if you’ve ever been pregnant you know what I mean. Once the baby in gestation gets to around the 16 weeks you may begin to feel the baby move. As the baby grows the feelings get stronger and you can literally discern the shape of the baby. My oldest had her toes wrapped around my ribs for the entire third trimester and I could caress the heel of her foot quite discernibly. I

Wrecking Ball Worry
God tends to have a preference for the Impossible. That’s where He does His best work. The impossible seems to be His specialty. In fact, Ge does His BEST work when the odds are stacked against us.
David met up with a giant. Moses opposed the leader of Egypt. Daniel prayed when He was told not to. Esther stepped into territory she wasn’t allowed. Ruth forsook her birthright for the Identity of God through Naomi. She stepped foot on the threshing floor and received for herself a Kinsman Redeemer named Boaz

Once And For All
“This, in essence, is the message we heard from Christ and are passing on to you: God is light, pure light; there’s not a trace of darkness in him.” 1 John 1:5
God is nothing but Life, Light, Joy, Goodness, Grace, Love and all things Hopeful. He can do all things; the unimaginable and the unexplainable and seemingly impossible. He is the ultimate Possibility Thinker, Way Maker, Bondage Breaker and the Friend like no other friend, loyal to the core.
For three days He became darkness to absorb all of ours.

Paying Attention
God is always trying to show us something…
“Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.”
Rev. 1:17-18
He is always whispering like the wind through the palm leaf. He gently moves and brushes about the trees. He peeks through the heavens with brilliant sunshine and warms the ground we thrive upon. He longs to be a blessing. He delights to

Head, Hand, and Heart
My pen is my friend…
It listens, not just to my head and my words, but also my to my heart. My pen listens and then it leans~
It scratches the surface of the page. There is nothing like the flow of hand on a page and writing it all out in script.
I often times don’t know what I’m going to write before I sit down to write it. Other times I have themes and small tokens of thought that drift in and out of my mind for several days or even

Friend & Lover
Never Had a Better Friend-
The Lord has striped me in many ways.
Yet, He preserves each and every one of my days.
He took away so much that mattered to me
and in the process grafted me more tightly into His Tree.
He drew me near and showered me with blessings from above.
He gave me increase in my capacity to Love.
He showed me His devotion and care
Yet I know He will not only stop there.
He took me as a seed and planted me in the Earth.
He provided the water of Salvation in Jesus
giving me

Forever Is A Long Time
God is an undeniable, reliable, unyielding Fortress of Hope. There is no variant or shadow in His midst. His heart so big it overcomes every shadowy place about you. Yes, even the dark edges of your soul, your heart, your mind are consumed by His Presence.
Have you ever been around someone who has the ability to shift everything when you are around them? They somehow just make you feel better just by being there. They don’t have to say anything. They don’t have to do anything. Just knowing they are

Joy Comes
Though tears come through the Night…
Joy comes in the morning.
I bet that could also read Joy comes in the Mourning….grief gives way and births something amazing when we are married to God.
It literally JUST dawned on me as I was writing it!!! (No pun intended by using the word dawn 🤭)
I sent this thread to a friend who is grieving this morning. She replied that she has actually researched this and the word Morning. It is used both ways! So our Lord once again proves He has thought of everything.

How I Quit My Soda Addiction
I just overheard my son say to a friend, “I like soda, but I hardly ever have it.”
Words that make a momma happy…words that now inspire the following post. What’s it about? Soda of course.
I used to be addicted to soda.
Diet Pepsi to be exact.
I didn’t grow up on soda—we next to never had it in the house. But I did grow up on Kool Aid and refined foods in all forms. If it wasn’t refined it was canned or frozen. If I wasn’t drinking Kool Aid it was iced

Unusual Faith
“As pressures and stress bear down on me, I find comfort in your commands.” Psalm 119:143
I am such a lover of the pen–Actual hand written script is my favorite expression. I’ve got journals full of it. Something fluid and magnificent happens inside of me as I become unlaced in His Presence. Writing has always forced my mind to slow down. It directs me to ponder as I listen to my Love. And as I hear Him speak I get to rehearse His gentle and kind words over again as they
