Intimacy With Greater Things
None of Jobs friends really understood what Job was going through. They had no personal experience the same as his. Though they cared about him, they failed to know how to properly care for him. So they had to idly sit by and watch him.
“Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” Proverbs 3:25-26
Job had a story in the Bible like none other. Despite his long

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’” Mark 12:30
Worry is such an incredible waste of time, energy and anything of value that it will cost you. Because you will always have to make an exchange when you choose worry over faith. Worry will cause you to take detours on your journey not meant for you. Worry will derail purpose and potential in exchange for a one way ticket to nowhere. When

Going Through
Have you ever been through something hard?
Of course you have, we all have. The only thing that differs is the experience of the hard (actual trial), the length of it, the shape of it and ultimately how we handle it.
Not everyone handles their hard well.
None of us feel we handle difficulties well, except maybe someone delusional. God looks at us all through a different lens. He knows the payoff our hard can bring if we cling to His Tree of Long Suffering.

Headlong & Strong: Go In Deep
Obedience to God produces a peculiar glory and builds a peculiar faith in a God who tends to delight to do things…peculiarly. I think He likes mystery. He likes to show off a bit. They are very good at many things. But what may be my most favorite thing is that they are super good, I mean really good, but they don’t really care. Oh they

Faith & Fitness Olympics
My husband trains athletes. He is a Strength Coach and he is very good at what he does. He has travelled all over the world with world class athletes, sculpting their potential giving them an edge to compete.Because of my husband’s profession I have been exposed to great athletes. I’ve watched how they train. They shine. They make everything look effortless and easy. Though they have God given talent and ability not one of these Olympians woke up a Champion. They each walked through the refiner’s fire of desire, discipline,

Gateway To Goodness
Have you ever browsed a brochure that takes your through verbal illustrations complete with dramatic and exotic photos that fill your mind with expectations for the vacation that will fill the void and block out life’s noise?
Have you ever heard Disney’s slogan, “The Happiest Place on Earth”.
Americans are fascinated with pleasure. The idea of rest and ease seems to be what we think we need to manage and cope the stress of life. We plan and save and take distant vacations only to discover the price tag didn’t meet the
