“My favorite part of the day is whatever part of the day You show up in...”
A Prayer to Heaven
How about you? What is your favorite part of the day? Do you have a favorite part? Or maybe you don’t like any of it? Or maybe you like all of it? I chose to endear it all for different reasons. I love being able to check things off of my to do list. But I also love just reflecting and basking and enjoying the picturesque scene that my day can bring. You never known when the heart will become delighted.
The span of my life has contained so many remarkable extremes. I have had my taste of decadence and luxury, and I have had more than my fair shake of hardship and heartbreaking disappointment. Do you know what I’ve discovered? God was there with me through it all. It’s amazing how when you go through hard things the rigidity and strength of your back grows... if you let it. I find the most glorious expression of His soul to mine is how He has flooded my heartbeat with His. He has used all I have endured to build a stoic flavor about me in resilient strength, yet my heart gets softer and softer containing heaps more moisture all of the time. Just when I think He has filled my cup enough, my heart runs over some more. Too much love for me alone to contain. So I share it... I spread it around.
God’s way--His very Nature, is helping to equip you as He has called you. He is there holding you through it all.
I once had a vision of large fingertips reaching down from heaven and pinching and lifting ever so gently, but profoundly, the cross that I bore on my back.
We all have crosses to bear. But no matter your cares, the Almighty, you can find Him there and He is ready...He is willing...and oh how able!
So my favorite time of day has varied from day to day and through the seasons. I cherish moments for different reasons. When you’ve been bred and groomed to bring Joy and Thanksgiving, to give a wandering heart a room with a view of a Mighty Heaven and it’s Amorous Groom...I see God so differently than most do. I see Him as Strong and Accountable, but I see something more that I completely adore. I see soft eyes. I see a kind heart. And I feel His gentle care, and a laughter that doesn’t laugh at me but with me. In fact—He rejoices over me. He rejoices over you to, Beloved.
"The Lord your God is with you,
the Mighty Warrior who saves.
He will take great delight in you;
in his love he will no longer rebuke you,
but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Zeph 3:17
My favorite part of the day is the part that my Lord shows up in.
So I’m always looking... I’m always hoping... I’m always prepared to marinate in His Presence. There is a flavor and yearning that only He can bring.
May you prosper as your soul prospers and find great comfort and rest.
"Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul." 3 John 2

It wasn’t that she wanted to go alone, but never found others who possessed the courage to go with her. But she was familiar with the road she came to own and was willing to unlock every door the Lord gave her keys for. She knew full well she wasn’t looking for keys—she was one.
Wherever you go today I want you to dwell.
You may be working. You may be driving. You may be changing diapers, doing laundry or in school yourself preparing for final exams. So do what you do and achieve all you need to achieve, but as you do it all, abide in the Grooms Arms. With you, I guarantee, He is pleased. God doesn’t love like man does, so neither do I. God loves better.
Tip and angle your face to the sky. Find strength in your jawline as you have strength in the Cross. Whatever you face in life, know you can handle it because there is one walking beside you who can handle it to. When you go with God though you may walk, but you walk in Peace and the view, it is oh so Lovely.
A scripture I call Lovely for you to pack in your lunchbox today. Tuck it in your pocket. Pull it out and read it when the woes and the ways of the world begin to decay you. Be encouraged.
"I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine." Song of Solomon 8:3
God’s favorite time of day is the part He gets to spend with you.
May you Possess Stellar Strength for the Journey~
