I knew you when I knit you in your mother’s womb...
Human existence is fascinating.
Human physiology and biology are amazing.
I’m currently teaching my middle school son about cell metabolism. There is so much about about our cells and how they create and use energy and how they replicate themselves. All this science—I don’t understand—I’m a rocket man. Just kidding! I couldn’t resist. I love Elton John music. But truly, the science at the microscopic level is so, well, microscopic and so unique. Though it must be studied with a microscope to see it—it is there. It is real and it is working on your behalf to sustain and build your life every single day. Your very DNA remembers every detail about your appearance and replicate cells daily to sustain your special look.
When I was in school, like high school or college, I remember studying the stages of meiosis (cell replication). I found it interesting, so I remembered it. One thing I noticed, even back then, was that the distinct stages and appearance of meiosis look like spindles. I believe that is even how my high school biology teacher even described it.
I think of this scripture God used to give us clues before any microscope was ever created...
“For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, God!”
Psalm 139:13-17
The Lord loves you.
The Creator of all Humanity is in love with you.
He knows you.
He knows everything about you.
He knew the path of your every step and was there guiding your direction through every obstacle, pitfall, setback and wrong path-Gently loving and guiding you to His Path.
He is more concerned with doing what it takes to keep loving you than He is concerned about any mistakes that have been made by you.
He has entered a covenant blessing with you.
What does that mean, exactly?
It means He has attached his devotion to you like a marriage designed to stand the rest of time.
He will never leave you or forsake you and when he looks at you—
I think he feels rather fond of his knitting skills.
Life♥️
It is a magnificent gift.
Enjoy it.
All of it—
Even on the hard days,
The Son is always shining.
You are covered.
**I am attaching the most beautiful post about the stages of conception and development. Though we begin as a glorious meeting of sperm and egg, it looks a peculiar at first, but what rapidly unfolds is something beautiful. Life can be the same way. Stick it out and stay the course. God isn’t finished yet. Believe for your best!
