The Voice

The voice of the Lord is authority. But the voice of the Lord does not shame, name call or condemn. Check the spirit. Criticism accuses and provokes. Love evokes a positive response. You cannot make anyone do anything without provoking a spirit of witchcraft. Be careful. The Kingdom of God does not come by force. God’s hands are strong, but gentle. He compels. He is patient and long suffering. He is gracious and merciful. He wraps His heart around us.

“Know your worth.”

Jesus did not come to force people to his way of thinking. Jesus came to become The Way for those who didn’t deserve it. He bacame the hope for the generations to follow him. He became peace to the unrest of soul. He came to know you intimately. Jesus is not a part time lover, but an everyday adventure. He wants your whole heart. Taste and see that the LORD is good.

Obedience to God may not always feel good. It can be uncomfortable. But the intimacy of the Holy Spirit and the love and favor He pours out is intoxicating and inviting. Love compels. Allow your hope to crescendo. If it’s of God, it will not come by force.

Carefully sift today the voices, the ones coming from within you and those coming at you. God is with you, guiding your path, bringing forth a harvest. Not everyone will understand you, be at rest. God is your pilot.

Many Blessings, Joy, Comfort and Rest,

Nicole

“Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; today I declare that I will restore to you double.” Zechariah 9:12

Ezekiel 3: 1-12

And he said to me, c“Son of man, eat whatever you find here. tEat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.” So I opened my mouth, and he gave me this scroll to eat. And he said to me, “Son of man, feed your belly with this scroll that I give you and fill your stomach with it.” uThen I ate it, and it was in my mouth vas sweet as honey.

And he said to me, w“Son of man, go to the house of Israel and speak with my words to them. For you are not sent to a people of foreign speech and a hard language, but to the house of Israel— not to many peoples of foreign speech and a hard language, whose words you cannot understand. xSurely, if I sent you to such, they would listen to you. yBut the house of Israel will not be willing to listen to you, for they are not willing to listen to me: because all the house of Israel zhave a hard forehead and a stubborn heart. aBehold, I have made your face as hard as their faces, and your forehead as hard as their foreheads. Like bemery harder than flint have I made your forehead. cFear them not, nor be dismayed at their looks, for they are a rebellious house.” 10 Moreover, he said to me, “Son of man, dall my words that I shall speak to you receive ein your heart, and hear with your ears. 11 And go to the exiles, fto your people, and speak to them and say to them, g‘Thus says the Lord God,’ hwhether they hear or refuse to hear.”

12 iThen the Spirit1 lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice2 of ja great earthquake: “Blessed be the glory of the Lord from its place!”
