Find Your Bliss
Find Your Bliss
Bliss- defined as-
1. Extreme happiness; ecstasy.
2. The ecstasy of salvation; spiritual joy.
Do you know where your bliss is? People try all different methods and means to find it and those who do experience an extreme contentment that supersedes anything going on around them.
People frequently fail to find it because they look to the wrong things. Finding your God given purpose has a lot to do with finding your bliss. Your bliss is where your passion resides. That thing locked inside that you dream to do, you know

In The Name of Love
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believed in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
A deep love for God is received by His Grace, but as we show our love back to Him we follow Him where ever He leads. If it be through treacherous terrains, sleet, storms, tornadoes, or a scorching dessert sun…this is the road less travelled that leads to His Treasures of Heart. It doesn’t matter how it “looks”, we merely “Go”.

“Did I but live nearer to God, I could be of so much more help.”
-George Hodges
Do you have good neighbors? When people look for a place to live one of the factors they look at is the neighborhood. What’s it like? How about the people who live there? The quality of our neighbors can make or break our ability to thrive in our environment.
We are beyond blessed with amazing neighbors! Not just one, but all of them. We look out for each other. They look out for my kids.

Outside the Box
Have you ever been told, “Think outside of the box”? I was recently around a woman who shared this as she had just heard it for the first time. Though I said nothing, I was surprised because I think I first heard that phrase ten years ago and thought it was established as a common phrase…I guess I was wrong.
Boxes are useful. We pack things in them to transport. We use them to organize our pantry (containers of various shapes and sizes). A kid could play all day with the

T-Shirts, Tears and the Kitchen Sink
My eldest and only daughter is home for spring break and as I sit and drink in the pleasure of having all my babes in my midst, I am full with gratitude for who each of them is. Parenting can be tough. Raising amazing humans isn’t easy. As long as I’ve been a parent I try to approach my job as teacher, mentor, coach the same way I approach others…catch them doing good, applaude success and let them know the “why’s” of choices instead of the “just because” approach. Hope

Nutrition 101
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5
Over the years I get asked much about how I eat. There are so many diets, trends and fads where nutrition is concerned. I don’t follow any “program” except what I feel God has lay upon my heart coupled with my education in nutrition, as I continually seek His guidance in this arena. I eat whole foods, lots of fish, dark green leafy vegetables and

Got Peace?
God wants our attention. At first He will be content with just a little bit, but He is a Jealous Lover of our soul. He wants of your life more and more. So, when trials come, turn your gaze to Him and leave it there when the trials end. For it is but too true…It is far better to have turmoil in your life, but Peace in your heart than to have peace in your life, but turmoil in your heart. ~Nicole

Risky Faith Unfolded…
In the past, I’ve used analogy from the story of race horse, Secretariat, the greatest race horse to live. I love this story and God uses it much to speak to my heart and relate it to the desires of His heart for my obedience to live and make choices according to His Purpose and Destiny for my life. I own the Disney movie depicting the tale and I will occasionally pull it out and watch it just to spark the fire of zeal that I know is within me.

Hold Tight 'Til The End Of Night
“I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me.”
Psalm 3:5
When you walk through a trial dark as night the Lord will hold you til morning. Great trials produce great trust. But what to do during the trial? Praise.
Sometimes when I praise God I wonder if He is hearing my praise and thinking, “Is that all you’ve got?” But God’s not like that. If our only praise was the name of Jesus rolling from our lips He would take it! It’s the sacrifice of heart that He
