Sculpted Life
I have been fascinated with health, fitness and nutrition since middle school…at least, middle school is when I recall it all beginning.
Looking back now I see the Divine Sculptor’s hand in everything. All the things I did and tried—having no idea it was a gift of Vision and forward thinking being released from inside. I didn’t think about it, I just did it.
There was no internet or fast facts available at the fingertips for me to learn to track and plan my nutrition. I learned at a young

Peace of Love
When loves walks in you can feel it…
Unfortunately only women will able to relate to this, but if you’ve ever been pregnant you know what I mean. Once the baby in gestation gets to around the 16 weeks you may begin to feel the baby move. As the baby grows the feelings get stronger and you can literally discern the shape of the baby. My oldest had her toes wrapped around my ribs for the entire third trimester and I could caress the heel of her foot quite discernibly. I

MVP
And they had great exploits together…
Have you ever been on a really good team? Not just a good team, but a REALLY good team. A decent team might have one or two really good players that carry the rest. But a good team is amply loaded and blessed with players that each shine bright in their own right.
My son plays waterpolo and he was on that kind of team this season. There is one boy on the team who has both parents—former Olympians in Aquatics. He picked the right

Constant💕
When I was about 12 years old our neighbors cat had kittens. She was a beautiful, pure white cat, as were all of her adorable little babies. The neighbors were giving the cats away and asked around who wanted one, and of course,
I did.
I grew up with cats. We had tried having a dog a few times and it wasn’t such a great experience. We were definitely cat owner types. Except we also had these two birds, a parakeet and a cockatiel. I found them both. You heard me,

Gifts
You Are A Gift
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
James 1:17
“Lord, Let my words be Christ’s potent drug that reaches into and emerses every narrow crevice of man’s heart. That we might all be intoxicated for HIM and in HIm…
The ONE, holy amd true. Amen.”
There really aren’t any words to describe my heart for God and the depth of my friendship with him. However, I have agreed with the Almighty to try to

Charmed or Favored?
As the body thirsts for water, so my soul will thirst for you…
Since I was a youth people, friends, say things to me such as, “you have a charmed life” or “everything always works out for you”. I guess I never spent much time thinking about it until these statements became a regular pattern in my young adult life. My life is not “charmed”. But what I do have is “Favor”. The unmerited favor of God. We are all spiritual beings, thirsting for more than what we have. I know

My AdvoCare…
I was 26 years old, married, no kids, when I met AdvoCare. I knew I was planning to start a family soon and at the time was working two part time jobs. I knew I wanted to stay home with my baby once I had one. My husband worked in Division 1 College Athletics and was rarely home due to the demands of his career. I had been praying for financial provision so I could walk away immediately from one job and then later the second. Here comes AdvoCare. I

Delighted by Design
When I was a young girl I truly enjoyed drawing. I could spend hours with pencils and pens creating on my sketch pad. By the eighth grade I thought I’d like to be a Graphic Designer. In High School my Mom and I would joke about me getting a job working for Hallmark one day.
I never became a Designer in that sense, but even at a young age the presence of God’s direction on my life was evident. He was there guiding my interests. I think if I worked for

The Calling…
Have you ever felt like God has a different standard for you than for others? Well, His Word lays a Sure Standard for us all, but if you’ve ever felt this way, there is some truth to your feelings that can also be found in the Word. Let’s take a look.
I was sitting in a Bible study class last week and we were discussing the topic of obedience to God, the power of our spoken words and consequences for doubting the Lord. An example was given of Zechariah, who was

A Highway Built of Words
“The one who guards his mouth preserves his life…”
Proverbs 13:3
What is dripping from your lips? Think of your words as a highway…
A week ago I was driving with a friend up in the Motherlode of Northern California. If you haven’t been there it is breath-taking with beauty. Steep ravines and every kind of evergreen. Absolute Majestic Beauty. As we drove I mentioned to my friend of the roads. I thought of all the pioneers who blazed these trails and paved them as well. High power lines added to increase the
