Way To Work💦👊🏼
Last week I had an experience where someone made a judgement about me based on how I looked. The person doesn’t know me really at all, but they felt it important, when I asked them a question relavent to the situation, to verbalized their assumptions. Another person was standing right there and they both began to laugh out loud. I asked my question again, without getting angry, but asked what they considered to be of such great humor? Then I proceeded to do what I was there for and they

Well Worth It!
You Have Worth…
Inside the human body we each have a organelle called the Golgi apparatus or Golgi Complex. It is responsible for protein synthesis among other things. It makes cell structure and DNA possible.
You can’t see it.
Most don’t even know they have it. But it is there-securing your DNA every day.
Your worth and identity is etched within your very DNA.
Who you are transcends time and space. God created for you a place that cannot be replaced or erased. Immeasurable Worth! ~Nicole
“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God

You Are Enough
Change on big scales will always start with something small….yourself.
Though you are created, built, wired to be BIG and GREAT, on the scale of eternity we are but small. Most feel too small for their choices to make a difference or lasting impact. But this is not true. It all starts with what you do on the inside of who you are. It starts in the mirror.
I don’t consider myself a great writer. I don’t have mastery knowledge of the English language or the literary works of humanity. I haven’t

The Path
About five or six years ago my husband decided to go on a hike up in the Mother Lode of California to spend some time in reflection and prayer. Doesn’t that sound amazing?
We love to hike and though we don’t go as much as we used to-it’s always been something we enjoy together. On this hike, he was gone a very long time and I began to feel a little concerned. John has always been really good at checking in and he tends to call me a lot in general.

Glorious✨ (3)
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” Psalm 23:5
Years ago, after a series of unfortunate and painful events in my life that occurred tragically and with exaggeration, I cried out to God. I had lost everything. My home, my possessions and now my purse had just been stolen. I said, “Why?” And then I heard Him reply with a bone stiffening reverence…
I sat straight.
Ever had God pierce your soul like that? I have, on a number

Serenity
“The Lord on high is Mightier than the noise of many waters, than the mighty waves of the sea.” Psalm 93:4
I have a large family. I did not come from a large family so this has been a new experience for me. I grew up in a quiet home where everything was always in order, tidy, organized. I tend to be a quiet, soft spoken person. I’m not loud. But when you have five children, four of which are boys, it can get kind of crazy. I think we are

Details…
I was raised my a Mother who payed enormous attention to the details. Today, I recognize the merit to be found in this. Sometimes it takes a long time to truly get to know a person…and at times it takes even longer to get best acquainted with ourself.
Let’s look now to Rebekah of the Bible and discover what happened for a young woman who was focused on the humble details of life…
“So it was, when the camels had finished drinking, that the man took a golden nose ring, weighing half

Holy Cross
The high road is this way…
In my young married life–a season of the growth of my soul– I remember struggling with something and God helping me to learn to handle it. I remember having a dream of me carrying a cross just like Jesus did. Only I saw something in this dream that looked like a large hand reach down from the sky and gently pinch the large cross on my back as though it were only a stick and began to gently lift so the weight in my back

Friends Forever…
Yesterday, out of the blue, a name from my past erupted in my mind…
It was the name of a woman I knew many years ago. I didn’t know her well, but she was a customer of mine through my nutrition business. She lived here in my city and I’d visit her at her home a few times a month to deliver vitamins to her.
She was advanced in years and seasoned in life. She lived alone, though she had family, none in town. She was still working as a CNA nurse

It's Just Stuff!
It’s Just Stuff!
Last week I told the story of my carpet in my first home and how over time even my fancy vacuum/carpet shampooer couldn’t lift the spots. Go back and find it in my thread if you missed it.
The thing about cleaning a carpet is that you eventually have to do it again. The same is true for laundry, dusting, organizing/filing and gardening or yard work. You have to maintain what you have accomplished. Once you become decided about something it becomes easier to manage the decision over time.
