Health & Healing For America
I woke up this morning feeling heavy hearted the same as I did when I fell to sleep last night. God, where are you? Maybe that’s something you’re asking yourself right now. I know I am. But here, down beneath my hurt and heart ache, I know something on a deeper level and I have personal experience with its truth—
God is there, right beside you.
He’s always been there.
He is faithful.
He is protector.
He is confidant.
He is friend.
He loves the color of your skin, whatever shade it is.
He loves you

A Stroke Of The Lashes
Does God Disappoint?
I think it’s safe to say that we have all had a time or two where we just plain missed it. We did it our way and then later came to know whatever it was, it was a wrong choice and may have even had some rough consequences.
But have you ever done something in complete surrender and submission to God, following His lead, yielding fully and then later feeling disappointed in what came next?
Why do we think being a Believer is going to fulfill our personal goals and

Wash Love In
Wash your hands.
Wash your hands every day, multiple times a day. This is an effective way to keep germs and bacteria away which spread disease, lead to illness and sickness. It a simple practice, but I think we’ve all seen a person or two leave a public restroom without doing such. Kids are the worst culprits, they must continually be reminded to wash their hands. But when you wash, it is best and most effective when done with warm water. Warm or hot water kills the germs quickly

Dessert Hope
Dessert Rose
The dessert rose is a lovely plant. So stunning is its thick trunk, green leaf and star shaped flower most gardeners recommend showcasing this plant rather than tucking it in with the other garden foliage. The dessert rose originated near the Sahara Dessert. This flower loves the heat and is drought resistant.
The human heart is like a lily of the valley, the dessert rose, a garden of splendor. Just like a garden, the human heart needs special care and attention. Not every heart is exactly the same. Some need

Crescendo of Hope
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.”
Psalm 19:14
Just be still.
You are likened to the Pools of Healing Waters at Bathesda.
Your life will change…forever changed and will not be the same.
Just be still.
Heaven’s Glory is not dependent on your efforts.
Believe in God’s Goodness.
The Lord says, “I will be good to you.”
You’re going up.
Heaven is going to fill your Cup.
Pure Gold.
He’s got you.
Blessings and tidings so good will come to you and will be

90 Degrees
Yesterday over lunch I had a fascinating visit with the spouse of a colleague of my husband. She is in the same industry as myself, fitness…but she’s been at it a good ten years longer (paid anyway) than I have. But what she is doing now fascinated me. She told me she “fixes broken people”. She went on to share how she is still personal training, but her clients are cancer patients. She gets them post surgery and helps them reduce inflammation and gain greater mobility and range of motion.

Gifts
You Are A Gift
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
James 1:17
“Lord, Let my words be Christ’s potent drug that reaches into and emerses every narrow crevice of man’s heart. That we might all be intoxicated for HIM and in HIm…
The ONE, holy amd true. Amen.”
There really aren’t any words to describe my heart for God and the depth of my friendship with him. However, I have agreed with the Almighty to try to

Whole ♥️ Heart
One of the ways the Holy Spirit moves is by using stories that we can relate to. Stories in the Word. Stories in the lives of others. Stories we hear from others. I guess God loves a good story. He understands that life is a story and it is one worth telling.
When I read about the crucifixion of Christ in the Word I can hardly get through it. I can read and try to imagine the physical pain and anguish he consumed, but I haven’t had a lot

Repairer of the Broken
“Those from among you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Streets to Dwell In.”
Isaiah 58:12
When I was married I inherited a home my husband already owned and I also inherited a dog- all in addition to gaining a husband.
I’m not really much of a dog person or pet person for that matter, but this dog was a true sweetheart. She was a Rottweiler and had been the product
