Be one who speaks with authority.
Speaking with authority is different from being authoritarian. Authoritarian leadership is all about manipulation and control. Do as I say or else kind of leadership. Authoritative leadership is about respect, honor and a rock solid guidance that builds confidence and a sense of security.
Authority is a level of conviction, confidence, maturity and knowledge in any given field or area of expertise. Leadership is authority guided by genuine love. Some have natural God given ability to rise as a leader. Some must learn and grow a
As I was preparing in the kitchen yesterday I found my thoughts wander to this grand day of Harvest in history. I thought of the earliest of settlers-the inhabitants of the colony of Roanoke. These people came to America and tried to settle the very first community in 1587. But they disappeared mysteriously without a trace. History never trulwy discovered what became of them. Some say they went black to England some say they died. Let not their tremendous legacy die in vein. We the people have a duty to
I’ve got this word on my heart and I’m not sure what to do with it. It’s a word for the mature believer. I am aware that maybe not everyone reading this even knows Jesus. But I must also trust and obey and my pen must yield. So take my words, I know they are strong, and sift them with the grace of the Cross where Jesus stained the ground red and bled and died for both you and me.
This is a challenging word, but I believe it is thick
You Are A Prize Fighter!
Fight For Your Goals!
Believe in Yourself!
You can handle this. . .
There is no one better for this than you.
That’s why the opportunity was given to you.
Even in a struggle, you’ve been equipped with the strength to shoulder it.
You will know what to do.
You will feel your discernment speak—gut instinct. You will not sink. You will swim. You will rise and your life will thrive…and so will you.
Speaking to some strong, but maybe weary hearts….
You’ve Got Real Strength. . .

“Give us today our daily bread.”
It is time to cancel debts.
If you’ve ever worked to get out of debt you know how difficult it can be. But what may be even more difficult than becoming debt free, is remaining debt free. What is true for our finances is also true for our spirit.
There is one above to came to cancel every debt for all of eternity. He came to set us free from captivity and all that would bind us, burden us, hold us down. He came to do
Just breathe. Just relax. Rest. Don’t you know proper rest is essential for proper recovery and immune health? All statements you may have heard before.
Our Parasympathetic Nervous System is our bodies way of regulating involuntary activities. It is a part of the Autonomic Nervous System and it tells our body what to do without our having to think about it. It just happens automatically. It says such things as “rest-and-digest” or “feed and breed”. This is because it is the system that tells us to relax and take it easy
Prayer has Power
Try this little prayer with me. It won’t hurt a thing and you might be surprised at the peace it brings to your heart, mind and soul.
“All around I am bound. It may seem as though I have no power, but I choose to look up and I look for you, God. For you are the higher power who can lift me right out of my shackles and my doubt. With you, God, I become free. Help me see—free me. Amen.”
I declare over you right now an added
GLOW with it…
A chief objective in my life, part of my mission statement, if you will, is to help people become successful.
I do this first and foremost by instilling in the them the resolute and unwavering belief that they can, indeed, achieve all that they have been placed on this planet to do. I can see it in my minds eye, my heart and soul. But what I see won’t matter if you don’t see it and believe it, too.
Helping other people be successful doesn’t mean God doesn’t have success
How do you measure success?
My question is not rhetorical, it is for you. It’s a question that has no wrong answer for the definition of success may differ from person to person. Outcomes, obstacles, opportunities…life is filled by them all. The question is, what do we do when we obstacles come at us? How do we handle them? What do we think or feel when we experience setback, lack, or abundant joys and pleasures? Is this success? Or maybe you are one that measure success in a different way? Maybe
“She has done what she could…”
Difference Makers do things “differently”.
I have always been compelled and drawn to the unique. People and things, experiences, that are not the norm or status quo experience. I guess maybe because I have always felt a little different. I rather enjoy it, actually.
I am forever grateful for the family I grew up in. A strong family foundation has enormous merit in how a person ultimately turns out. This doesn’t mean one without a strong family can’t turn out stellar. Of course not. If you know
