As some of you who follow my blog already know, John and I have just returned from the trip of a lifetime. Below I’m going to highlight some tips and tricks for maintaining lifestyle of health while traveling. Glean what you can!

We spent an entire week in Israel. What began in Tel Aviv, finished with most of the trip in Jerusalem touring as many historical and Biblical sights as we could. We went with a group, nearly 40 strong, lead by our Pastor and a Pastor from a church in

Sometimes people’s loyalty fades quickly. Not everyone who claims to be loyal to you will make it through the slightest ounce of adversity. Some will hang in there for a bit before they also fade away, but then there are the few, these are the stellar giants of heart God has given to you. Consider it a gift, because

One of the amazing highlights of our trip to Israel was visiting the very places that Jesus walked, talked, taught and lived. It creates another new level of animation to the soul of what life in his era was like. Now when I read I see the landscape vividly. Mind blowing detail manifests itself and I am grateful. Every ounce of me grateful.

Where to begin…

This is the foremost thought on my mind tonight.

I’ve arrived home from one of the most favorite weeks of my life. I had no idea how much I’d love being in Israel. So much history. So much prophesy. So much …so much. I’ve unpacked my bags (because I’m a bit of a freak about putting things in order right away). I’ve had a light snack even though it’s “bedtime”, because I managed to lose 4 pounds on our trip somehow. And now I’m sitting down with my journal

I often wake with a song in my head that becomes amplified in my heart and hopefully—

God will use it to move me, stir me, create something beautiful and lovely within me.

Each day in Israel has been packed full morning to night with excursions which brought my heart delight—so many they are all starting to blur together and then the few magnified and highlighted on my soul. Forever etched in gold.

Yesterday was probably the most personally significant day of our trip to Israel for me. I knew before coming I was traveling there to receive something. Powerful dreams engaged me at night leading up to Sunday.

On Sunday I received what I came for

I realize more every day what a trip of a lifetime we have made. Coming to Israel impacts the heart, the mind, the soul. It produces something special inside us all. I am loving everything about this trip. If you’ve ever desired to go to Israel, make the plan and go. Your hearts pleasure will not be denied.

So I continue to write about our dailies on this trip. Yesterday was so full of vibrant experiences that proved themselves worthy of all of the emotionally provocative feeling they produced.

I made a post on Twitter the other morning. Actually—I believe it was yesterday. Our days are so packed full they seem to melt one to the other. But it must be pure gold because the beauty of this trip has only increased.
